SUPER BOWL XLV:Pittsburgh Steelers vs.
Green Bay PackersFebruary 02, 2011 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the cream of the crop of the 2010-11 NFL season will battle for gridiron supremacy in Super Bowl XLV at the new and state-of-the-art Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX.

The AFC champion Pittsburgh Steelers will play against the NFC champion Green Bay Packers for the distinguished Lombardi trophy. Both teams have disposed their respective rivals in their conferences with precise offense and outstanding defense.

The Steelers are gunning for their 7th Super Bowl title and it's third in the last six years. QB Ben Roethlisberger is again expected the lead the Steelers to victory. The Steelers' edge against the Packers is their solid Super Bowl experience that they have gained in the last six seasons.

The Packers are the hungrier team since their last Super Bowl win was in 1997. They have a 3-1 record in the Super Bowl; the loss came from the Super Bowl XXXII against the Denver Broncos.

The tale of the tape between each teams are fairly equal, be it on offense or defense. Both teams have great players in the QB, RB, WR, LB, DT and TE positions. The team that could capitalize on an error or costly miscues has the advantage to win the Super Bowl XLV.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Green Bay Packers as a 3-point favorite to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, if the Packers are caught in the glitz and pressure of the Super Bowl, bet on it the Steelers will hold up the Lombardi trophy.
