2022 PGA Tour: The Genesis Invitational February 17, 2022 by Marc Jerbs

On Thursday, the 2022 PGA Tour continues with the Genesis Invitational.

The four-round tournament will be played at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, CA.

Total purse is set at $12 million and winner will receive 1.6 million and 550 FedExCup points.

Max Homa will defend his hometown title this week as he returns to play in the Genesis Invitational.

He will joined by current FedExCup leader Hideki Matsuyama along with the rest of the top 10 players in the world.

This is first invitational tournament event of the season with a limited field of just 120 players.

The group of Aaron Beverly, Danny Lee and Doug Ghim will tee up first at 6:40am EST.

Starting at the same time in the back nine is the trio of Keegan Bradley, Alex Noren and Matt Fitzpatrick.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Jon Rahm as the favorite to win the last round of the Genesis Invitational on Sunday.
