On Thursday, the 2022 NFL Preseason officially starts with its opening Week 1 match between the New York Giants and New England Patriots.

Kick-off is set 7:00PM EDT at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.

The New England Patriots and New York Giants will meet for the 31st time in the preseason.

Patriots QB Mac Jones delivered well during his 2022 rookie season.

He might only play a few reps to give chance for back-up QB Brian Hoyer a lot of playing time this preseason.

New England averaged 27.2 points last year and their defense limited foes to 17.8 points per game which is 2nd best in the NFL.

The New York Giants enter another season with a lot of confidence after upgrading their roster.

They have now depth in the quarterback position by adding veteran Tyrod Taylor.

Starting QB Daniel Jones has not performed consistently in his first three years in the NFL.

Expect Tyrod Taylor to see plenty of playing time in this game together with 3rd back-up QB Davis Webb.
