On Thursday, the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California will host the Genesis Invitational.

Tiger watch is on cue as he tries to break Sam Snead's 82 PGA Tour win in his 2nd try this season.

Tiger Woods debuted in 1992 at the Riviera Country Club.

He has played 12 times in this course but has not won a single tournament.

He will take another crack on Sam Snead's record as he is paired with Justin Thomas and Steve Stricker on the first two rounds.

The trio will start Thursday's first round at 2:41PM ET.

Justin Thomas is the FedExCup leader and has two tournaments under his belt this season.

Steve Stricker was the winner of the 2010 Genesis Invitational and he will make his 500th career start in the PGA Tour.

Defending champion J.B. Holmes will be joined by John Rahm and Justin Rose.

The trio will start at 2:52 PM ET in their first round.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Rory McIlroy as the man to beat on Sunday's final round of the Genesis Invitational.
