2019 PGA Tour: The Honda Classic February 28, 2019 by Marc Jerbs

On Thursday, the PGA National Resort and Spa (Champion Course) will host the Honda Classic. This is the first tournament of the "Florida Swing" schedule for this season's PGA Tour. The Arnold Palmer Invitational, THE PLAYERS Championship and Valspar Championship will also be held in different golf course in Florida after the Honda Classic ends on Sunday.

The par-70 and 7,125-yard Champion Course of the PGA National Resort and Spa is considered as the hardest non-major course in the PGA TOUR. Positioning is the key to beat the Champion Course especially its dreaded Par-4 16th hole.

Defending champion Justin Thomas attempt a back-to-back win at the Honda Classic. He has five top-10s in his seven starts and he's fresh from a final round 62 at last week's WGC-Mexico Championship. The 144-man field also includes 2016 champion Adam Scott and 2017 winner Rickie Fowler.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Justin Thomas as the man to beat in the final round of the Honda Classic on Sunday.
