2019 NFC Championship: Los Angeles Rams vs. New Orleans Saints January 17, 2019 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the New Orleans Saints will host the Los Angeles Rams in the 2019 NFC Championship. Game time is set 3:05PM ET and will be played at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, LA.

The winner of the NFC Championship will play either the Kansas City or New England in Super Bowl LIII on February 3 in Atlanta. This is a rematch for both teams as they met earlier in Week 9 of the regular season with the Saints winning, 45-35.

This NFC Championship will be a shootout for both teams again just like what happened in Week 9. New Orleans has the all-time passing yard lead QB Drew Brees while Rams have QB Jared Goff. Both quarterbacks each threw 32 TDs and both have soaring QB ratings above 100. Both team also have tremendous running backs, Todd Gurley for the Rams and Alvin Kamara for the Saints.

Both teams puts a lot of effort in their offense as both coaches Los Angeles' Sean McVay and New Orleans' Sean Payton are gurus of offensive innovation and tactics. With Super Bowl berth on the line, a high-scoring game is in the offing this Sunday.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the New Orleans Saints as a 3-point favorite to beat the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday afternoon.
