On Sunday, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series moves to Martinsville Speedway in Ridgeway, Virginia for the STP 500 and set to start at 2PM ET. The 500-lap race will run thru a .526 mile paperclip-shaped oval which is the shortest track this season. The Martinsville Speedway has long straightaways and nearly flat turns which lead to extremely close contact racing. Avid fans will be dialed in for a real racing treat.
Series leader Kyle Busch will try to make three wins in row this weekend. He got consecutive wins at ISM Raceway and Auto Club Speedway and he's dead set to get a win at Martinsville Speedway.
Kyle Busch has won 2 three straight races in his career and he's keen on adding another one. He did it first in 2015 and followed it in 2018 when he won in Texas, Bristol and Richmond.
Last season, Clint Bowyer broke his 190-race winless streak when he won the STP 500. He took the checkered flag over Kyle Busch and he's willing to do it again with Busch's two-race winning streak on the line.
The sportsbook handicappers have installed Kyle Busch as the driver to beat on Sunday's STP 500.
