On Sunday, the Homestead-Miami Speedway will host the final race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, the Ford 400. The 1.5 mile oval track was inaugurated in 1995 which has a 65,000 seating capacity. Since the Ford 400 is the final race of the season, expect the speedway full of diehard stock racing fans.
Only three drives have a chance to hoist the Sprint Cup series trophy, they are Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick. The crew of each driver must have master plan to outwit and outmaneuver each other. Denny Hamlin holds a slim 15-point lead over Jimmie Johnson while Kevin Harvick is 46-points adrift for first place.
Denny Hamlin holds a slight edge in this race since he's last season's winner of the Ford 400. However, Jimmie Johnson was the pole winner in 2009 and 2007. Kevin Harvick also has a win in this track last season in the Ford 200 for the World Truck Series. All three drivers know what it takes to win at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The sportsbook handicappers have installed Jimmie Johnson as the favorite to win the Ford 400 and claim his 5th Sprint Cup Series title. It will still be a three-way battle for the three best drivers this season, may the best man win.
