NFL Week 3 Rivalry Match:Dallas Cowboys at Houston TexansSeptember 22, 2010 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the Houston Texans will host an all-Texas rivalry match against the Dallas Cowboys at Reliant Stadium. The game is set at 1PM ET; expect a lot of hostilities between these two teams.

The Houston Texans are undefeated in their first two games of the season. They lead the AFC South after beating the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Redskins. QB Matt Schaub is leading the team with his impressive 2 week performance that includes 47 of 60 completed passes for a total of 604 passing yards and 4 TDs. RB Arian Foster's 2 week stats of 52 carries for a total of 300 yards and 3 TDs also contributed to the Texans first two wins of the season.

If the Texans are on cloud nine, the Cowboys are nailed on the ground. The Cowboys are winless in their first two games against the Redskins and the Bears. The Cowboys and QB Tony Romo must focus on two or three guys that can really produce offensively. They can't make every player happy, their chosen WRs and RBs must find a rhythm to contribute consistently in the game.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Houston Texans as a 3-point favorite to hand the Dallas Cowboys their 3rd consecutive loss of the season. However, if the Cowboys would be able to set their chosen plays right from the kickoff then things would look good for them.
